Been in Kentucky this week, but with kids so no real chance for tours. New Riff Single Barrel is good though. Hopefully I'll find another one to try tonight.

It was a glorious day, lol! I just looked, this was 5.5 years ago. Damn, time flies. My wife was not too pleased that I spent $1k in one swipe, I tried explaining that it was the bargain of the century.

Hill Country distillers Prickly Pear spirit finished in bourbon barrels.

None of them remain. Enjoyed them with family and friends, enjoyed them to celebrate milestones and special occasions. I can’t look at a full bottle of whiskey for too long, especially good stuff.
They’re great, but not worth the stupidity of todays world. And I’ll take BTAC over Pappy (except VWFRR) any day of the week.
