I don't drink much rum, especially straight, but seeing a few of these rum bottles on here make we want to try. Ya'll pull out stuff I haven't seen before.

I like some Green River. I've only had the wheated and I liked it. I need to get another bottle actually.

My wheated favorite right now is Weller 107.
Other favs:
Bardstown
Green River
New Riff

Anybody have a Bardstown rec? I need another bottle of Bardstown as well.

BigPerm30, I'll have to keep an eye out for the Green River Cask Strength.
As far as Evan Williams, I haven't ventured into a good bottle of Evan Williams. What's good?

Those EW single barrels are good for the money. That particular one looks younger than most.

Idk if anyone has tasted the Lasso Motel offerings, but they're really solid. Sourced from MGP and Green River.

Tried the Darts Cigarette Blend, Single Barrel Cask Strength Rye, Amburana Cask Finish, 8 Year Boubon Whiskey. Would pass on the Amburana, but picked up a bottle of the cask strength rye for myself.

The single barrels are fine, but they are only 86 proof.

The 12 year 101 proof is good, but it’s distillery only (maybe also Japan?).

The standard Green River Full Proof is good, I haven’t had the Wheated.

I'm up in Northern Virginia right now. They are having a state wide allocation drop. It's a fricking shite show.

Ran into this today. I paid too much but I don’t care. It’s one of my favorites and was happy to find it. About to do a fresh crack…

Nancy Pick from June. 7 year bourbon. Picked this up at the distillery. It’s beautifully layered and complex

That’s 8.5 years old. They must have proofed it down to hell.

They do. I’ve had a few pours and enjoyed each one. Think it’s the Texas heat giving more complex rich flavors in same time of Kentucky?

7 years in the TX heat puts some color on it. It’s not crazy over oaked either.

This is the Rye release. It’s only 4.5 years old. I think Nancy is trolling us with these notes. It’s unique and I definitely get the coconut which is odd for a rye.
