I love seeing the secondary market crash. Hopefully some of those bitches get stuck with a lot of allocated shite they can’t move.

Secondary won’t crash as quickly. Too many lazy people like me who won’t chase bottles.

I just got a bottle of Antique at MSRP yesterday. The world is healing.

Buffalo Trace is sitting on so much fricking whiskey. There is no reason most of the Weller lineup shouldn’t be shelfers.

Also, I’ve got a theory they made those refrigerated Rick houses so that they could put “special” barrels in there after they are almost peaked so they can sell Pappy 30, ER 25, etc.

I am seeing Eagle Rare everywhere. I am talking little country stores in rural areas where we just stopped for a break.

Pretty sure Albertson's has their Whiskey Tree Wheated bourbons mispriced. I have yet to see it anywhere under $55ish, and they had it for $35.

My guess is their system mistook the wheated for the regular small batch?

If you haven’t had first west yet, I suggest you give them a shot.

Anyone try that Barrell Cigar Blend?

Yea, we have a bottle at Diversion Pizza, it is pretty damn good. Customers are really enjoying the bottle.

Can vouch for the barrel cigar blend at diversion pizza

And the 5+ bottles of barrel I’ve never seen before and wished I would’ve found sooner.

Come on toof, you are rubbing it in my face.
It is actually hard to find regular Weller, much less a shelf with 107 on it and a Blantons.
That's cruel.

What is that next to Eagle Rare? Looks like Russell's but I haven't seen the dark label. I think I only see the white label for Russell's Reserve.

t00f,
I enjoy the HH BIB. I just tried HH for the first time and I enjoy it. It's got some similarities to McKenna 10 yr. I haven't tasted side by side, for the comparison but from memory I felt it was similar. Solid, but doesn't knock your socks off.

This was my first venture into HH, so I'll be trying more for sure.

I have to stop myself from over buying. Stuff I have thought of as rare is now everywhere. Going to have to enact a policy of no new bottle until an old one is killed unless I happen upon something truly special.

I hear you AlxTgr. The Eagles and EH Taylors are everywhere. I wouldn't mind a Stagg and Old Fitz, but they aren't easily found in DFW.
I'm hoping those become somewhat obtainable with the down turn.

Would be hard to pass a Stagg as I only have one and anything EH other than small batch, as that and one single is all I have ever owned.
