Ohio must have had a big drop for the 18 year, it’s everywhere. Prepping for my grandsons Friday night lights. Big game in northeast Ohio tonight. Cheers!!

Was at The Party Source this morning they had a huge display of it. $180 a bottle don’t know if that’s MSRP or not. Has to be a huge release.

I drove over to Columbus and the three places I went to all had multiple cases of it. The allocated release is tomorrow, BT and EHT.

So this is all I picked up, we hit a couple stores after Races, Best I could tell all these were MSRP, I could have got a bunch of stuff at this one stop but damn is anyone paying these secondary prices, Weller 12 was $299, Stagg Jr also $299, Even EHT SmB was $149. Guy says I have Antique Collection as well if you are interested
I said based on these price no thanks.

Nice haul. Not sure why Weller is being sold at those prices. I’ll find out what EHT SB is selling for tomorrow morning, I have it listed at $67.99.

Blind tasting of these two 100 proofs.

Blind tasting resulted in smoke wagon is worth picking up all day long.
EH Taylor very good but the simplicity of the smoke wagon is what I like in bourbon. Both excellent but I was able to tell the Buffalo Trace distinctive taste. Not a bad thing but sometimes to much is just that. Too much. Tonight may have been a simple kind of mood. KISS. Keep It Simple Stupid.
Both winners but I’d buy smoke wagon all day especially due to availability and price. But I’d also make sure I will always have a Taylor on hand.
I’ve had both those for some time and now out of smoke wagon I bought the smoke wagon while tent camping in Virginia. Maybe it’s got me with the memories of cool weather sitting outside in the evenings.

Smoke Wagon uncut unfiltered absolutely competes with the best in its range from Kentucky. Excellent stuff.
