The Weller sib narrowly won the blind. It was splitting hairs. As several have said, get the Bardstown without hesitation.

First full pour is surprisingly Minnick's 11th. I think it's kind of in the middle of the Stagg (jrs) I've had. I'm sure the proof played a role since he tried so many in one night.

I'm not saying it'd win every blind, but this is my bottle of the year. It's essentially coy hill at OWA proof.

I think prices and supply are meeting at a point that most people just won’t pay. I stopped at two stores in Ky today. Both had last two batches of Old Carter Bourbon and Rye Prices at $299 guy said they were not moving at one place. Also AE Cask Strength was $279 hard pass. They had 8 bottles. I picked up

I was just thinking this the other day. I’ve seen multiple bottles recently that would normally fly off the shelf collecting dust. And this is in Mississippi where the allocations are so low that people are usually willing to pay ridiculous prices.

Damn right….my fam knows I’m in this rare Bourbon game. They always ask what I would do if I ever get an allocated bottle of like Pappy 23. I’m like I’d drink it and share it with you assholes like I do damn near every other bottle I acquire…..they seem shocked.
