If you hadn’t already convinced me to pick one up, Fred definitely put it over the top. It’s next on my list when I make my way over to my local store.

So today I was at the store and a lady was asking about Blantons with the Liquor guy. He was like yeah you won’t find it before Xmas etc. She then rattled off the usual ER, BT, Weller 107, you get the picture. He says I do have a few Weller SR left. Finally I said, hold up does your husband really like bourbon. she says yes. I said don’t get the Weller. They have Bardstown BIB (wheater), Ben Holladay wheated, Tropics and Smoke Wagon UCUF. She said well he only drinks BT products, he has very good taste. She tells the guy I’ll take 2 of the Wellers. I said well I hope,he has Merry Christmas, and walked off

I take the top 100 list a little more seriously than the rankings within it. He takes his time with the former whereas the latter is all in one crazy night.
Speaking of KLuke, the rumor around town is it's about to be a full time gig. He's selling his store. He started KLuke in part because of the diminishing opportunities for picks as most brands are only rewarding bulk sales. It's not surprising, but is still disappointing.

It amazes me the people I run into or that claim to be big into bourbon. Then they ask what my favorites are and I reply with stuff that is readily available for,the most part. Especially some of the new small companies and they have no clue unless it’s BT or some limited hard to find bottle. I’m just glad they haven’t tried a bunch of stuff like Luke, Holladay, Smoke Wagon, Peerless and Wildrness trail.

3PD Fresh crack was gifted this today itstheir own juice and is a blend of about 5.5 year old juice. It is BP at 105.2 cause they use a low entry proof.

. So MND is now $200 a bottle at Total Wine. That being said, i heard the quality has gone down so I am skeptical. However, I have a $150 gift card to Total Wine so the bottle would only be $50+ tax. Is it worth it or should I spend my money elsewhere?
