that looks like a fun night! I'm just a couple of pours in, but I'm impressed so far. I wasn't able to try to special release so can't compare. Grabbing that KLuke was a good decision. The JD bonded rye will be there next week. I got one as well, but haven't opened it yet. This one is the biggest batch by far. I think he doubled the barrels, which makes sense with the expansion and popularity. I just hope quality doesn't suffer down the line.

The only other K Luke I’ve had was the toasted barrel, I thought this batch was sharp similar to the toasted barrel but I do think it is better. I get a lot of berries on this batch 6, along with a bit of butterscotch. I don’t regret the purchase.

Really, really good. Don’t pass on a bottle. I don’t know how many barrels came to La, but the bottle I got was excellent
