If I were the rep from Republic and found out he was pulling that shite I would stop giving it to him. Its one thing to hold them for your regulars/best customers which i don't have a problem when places do that. It's completely different to hoard them in the back until you can sell them at a jacked up price

Back in 2012 I spent a lot of money in that place and was on top of the list for Pappy and BTAC. When it came time for the Pappy and BTAC release they suddenly decided not to sell to loyal customers and start doing the back room deal. Since then I have only purchased one bottle from QBIN and that was their SAOS Rye selection.

They are not overly concerned with pleasing our demographic. They get all the LSU student business given the proximity to LSU.

I USED to spend my money there because it was on my was home from work. Similar story to those already posted. Found it odd I couldn't ever seem to get my hands on anything remotely "special". Finally came to my senses and went elsewhere - found cheaper prices as well.

The average LSU student is gonna go to Walmart rather than pay those prices. Everything is overpriced. The people I consistently saw in there were the Southdowns crowd.

I tasted it once. Was not impressed. Their gin is pretty good though.
