Yes. I had an SAOS 10, EHT Small Batch, Four Roses Single Barrel Calandro's pick, and a couple of Yuengling's. Currently drinking a Gatorade in hopes of not feeling too bad tomorrow as I have to hang Christmas lights.

I'm in search of a 30yr old bottle of scotch. Any recommendations?

I want to drink one older than I am, and I have a month to procure a bottle.

What about hitting up something like the Lock & Key in Baton Rouge and seeing what they have 30 years or older and try before you spend a bunch of money on a bottle?

Yeah, I might give that a go. They have a lot of selection in that age range? I wouldn't think to many places do.

Sorry bud, not a scotch drinker, but they bartenders should be able to point you in the right direction if there are no recommendations from someone here...

Who has had this years OF Bday Bourbon? Debating on whether or not to crack mine for the holidays, or save it.

Oldest scotch I've had was Balvenie 25 year and it was damn good. I've heard the Macallan 30 and Balvenie 30 are both excellent and not terribly hard to find. I think Lock and Key may be one of the places that has really old, really rare stuff too. There are Gordon and Macphail and other old distilleries that have scotch out there from the 1930s and 1940s and earlier that you'll sometimes find (but have to pay a premium on)

Thanks beard, I'll give those a go when I go to BR this weekend or next.

Don't they typically peak at about 30/35 years? I'll admit I'm a rookie bourbon/scotch drinker so excuse my ignorance.
