Starts with establishing relationships with store managers and owners. Go in and talk bourbon with them and start buying some bottles of regular stuff. Continue doing this and when you hear of new releases, talk about those with them (sometimes they're not aware of the new stuff and you may end up giving them a heads up to order it). Often with those releases, they'll let you know when they arrive and set aside a bottle for you. Once you're in good with these guys, you'll have a chance at the Pappy and BTAC stuff. Don't be the guy that comes in and just asks about Pappy and BTAC and leave without buying something. Over time, things pay off. It's taken me over 3 years to establish some good relationships and connections so it takes patience.

Just picked up a bottle of Angel Envy today and this awesome vintage highball glass from the Playboy Club in Chicago (1960's)

Today's acquisition. It's a highly rated 100% rye. I am looking forward to opening it for a taste.

What is a respectable offer for PVW 15 on the second hand market? Friend of a friend has a bottle, told me to make an offer.
