The brand is owned by Diageo and produced by Four Roses Distillery for now.

It is the toasted michters. It's great stuff. Way more complex and better than any of their other entry stuff. One of the best parts is that it was the same price as most of their other bourbons. Was $38. I'd say it's easily worth double that.

I like the Bulleit 10 a lot. But I am a fan of the high rye bourbons.

Went to Bourbon House last night before Phantom. Wasn't overly impressed with their list. I got the small batch flight for $22 which included Jefferson, 4R and EHT.

Damn...just passed on bottle of this at the Specs in downtown Houston. Guess I'll be having to make a trip back.
They had several Four Roses single barrels private selections also.

Beardface, does anyone around here sell old scout that you know of? I'm assuming it just isn't distributed here.

There are some SAOS 7, 10, and Rye in Baton Rouge. I have a couple of bottles of the 10 and its really good. Q-Bin is supposed to get a private barrel as well.

As of now, it's not distributed here. A friend of mine who's a broker has been working on them to expand to MS, but so far has been unsuccessful.
