I was afraid of that. Missed it. It must have been quick.

From what I was told they released a real small amount here but there may be a little more soon.

I had heard that and doubted it, but Lafayette just got another crop this last week and I was able to snag one. Not sure of how many total made it tho.

Edit: I was told originally there were 21 bottles released to the southern region of LA. The guy that told me wasn't sure where that encompassed, but said he thought generally it was Alex down south of Lafayette and from LC to BR.

Picked up the last bottle of ETL at Hokus Pokus for $28, can't complain about that.

Also got a bottle of Charter 101 just out of curiosity, never seen it on the shelf. Any notes on it?

Bank account hurting a bit more today. Got some good pickups, but had to pay for them. Not as ridiculous as secondary prices have become, but definitely not retail. In any case

Nice. I found a pappy 10yr for $299 & an ER17 for $250. I laughed and hung up the phone. In the late 90's I would pick this shite up from Paul Cat's (and then the guys that replaced them) with ease and little down. This shite is out of control!

Gentlemen, I had the privilege of sipping on some Booker's last night with my neighbor, and it was incredible.

As you know, Booker's is 130 proof, but you would otherwise never know it because the flavor is just so rich and smoothe. It was nothing short of awesome.

Who in here hits up this fine bourbon now and then?

For the money, the back end of Old Grand Dad 100 has got to be the most complex, delightful draught of bourbon available. The front end, pretty meh, but frick it the shite costs the same as Jim Beam White.

I've been completely shut out on the hunt too. The couple limited editions I have this year have come from trades.
