NOLA, how's that 11 year old? I've had one for a while I need to open. I cracked the 9 y/o not long ago. Pretty good, but not outstanding. It was young and hot.....which, yea, is usually a great combo. Just not in bourbon.

Edit: And all dat Elmer, dayum.

Put some chicken breast on the smoker and I am fixing to open this up. I remember buying Elmer T Lee for around $32 in the past. This bottle was $42.

Perfect weather to sit outside with the smoker.

I don't think you can even buy a barrel of JB. Each distillery offers certain brands for barrel purchase but not all brands. I know Beam does barrels of Knob Creek but I've never seen a private barrel of regular Beam or Bookers, Bakers, etc...

Gonna cost you ~$5k minimum

No idea. I do know you could have got a barrel of JPS 18. A place I buy from was telling me about a customer of there's they got one for and he told me it was pricy. Back when they did barrel programs.

Mmmmm like these! Dr beard were your labels like either of these? Dying to try them

These are the labels from my bottles. The one on the left is the single barrel that was non chill filtered. The other one is a regular release of the JPS 18.

That reminded me I have a couple of these sitting around. When the supply gets low it is hard to open the last few bottles.
