Ah yes...sometime I think I should get the company up there...but then I think I don't want to deal with another location. What do you do there....on the rigs drilling/fracking?

It's him that's on the rigs. I didn't want to go that route.

is it that good?

It's the best bourbon I've ever tasted, and that includes Hirsch 16...got 2 bottles of 23 in 2011. Went through the first sharing like crazy, empty by the next fall. Now waiting a long damn time before I open the second.

Still holding out on a bottle of PVW for this year...Pappy peeps were surveying the area down here today, so I'll find out Monday if I'm lucky. My contact asked my preference on age...of course told him 23 first (this is the last year of pure S/W juice) then 20, then 15...

I'll be happy with anything, but another 23 would be extra special.

Can't tell you where to find it, but personally, I think a glass of it should not exceed $40. If a bottle rations as about 20 drinks, then they're profiting off anything higher than $13 or so.

Not saying all Pappy is worth the hype, but the 23 from this year and earlier is as good as it gets.

just up from big ole nap.

Woke up at 1 projectile vomiting.. Lasted until 5. Wasn't a good situation. Must've been something I hate because my buddy, who I was drinking with, had the same thing.

Man, the tin roof coffee porter is good but this rougarou black ale is borderline terrible

I've never had them. Not big into the craft beer world but I'll support Parish brewery when they have something new.
