It's a good feeling knowing you got backup. Question is...when do you violate the new one
I'll join ya. Since I got another bottle of weller 12 and 107 I can kill my current mix of it.

Lol constant motion.
It is pretty good actually, smooth and enjoyable neat. I haven't had the 3 side by side tho.
I honestly couldn't tell...might be because it was 2 weeks before I had more. Maybe ill do a taste test...mix a bottle and let it sit 2 weeks. Then mix some up the night of a test...and save at least a pour of the 12 and 107 by its self...then try it all back to back.

The crazy thing is that weller 12 and 107 is exactly the same as the van winkle 107 and the lot b other than barrel placement.
Not many people realize that

Yeah I've heard that. Weller 12 is one of my favorites that are always on hand. Thankfully, Marcellos almost always has it in stock. I hear it's tough to find in some parts

I did not realize that! I have some lot b...so that's the se as the 12?
Marcellos can't get the 107 then...there was one they have had a hard time getting so I got both online.

Well look at it this way... Buffalo Trace has one wheated mashbill, no variations. There can be no other variable other than barrel placement.
William Larue Weller is essentially barrel proof weller 12

Wine and cheese is where you get the 107 huh?
Posted on 11/7/13 at 8:13 pm to Uncle JackD
It's crazy to think placement makes such a difference.
Yes that's where I got it. Call and ask for Phil.

What's the best mix ratio of the Weller 12 and 107? I've got an empty Lot B bottle I'd like to fill.
