If there's no age statement on the front or back, it's gonna be between 8-12 years old.

The barrel proof will still be a 12 yr though.

Went to my small neighborhood store yesterday rather than the big boxes around (in Houston) and was surprised with what they had on the shelf. I was able to pick up a Stagg Jr., EHT Single Barrel, SAOS 10 yr and a Hibiki 12 all for right at retail. I got excited when I spotted the Handy up behind the counter but about shite a brick when I saw the $299 sticker on it. I know that's what it can go for secondary, but with the reasonable pricing of everything else I was surprised.

Am I expecting too much to find a bottle in store for <$100?

And for reference they had a bottle of Hibiki 21 for $299 so they don't have all of their expensive juice marked up

JCANS,

How is this one? I passed on it the other day at $80 because of mixed reviews. I am more of a value drinker!

Awesome pours...Fins' was amazing as always, and Finn's in the afternoon might have been better

NPD: 12-107 (since I just discovered another bottle of each in the bunker )

Now that there is no smoking at Finn's I need to get it back in the rotation.

I got a $75 gift card to Hokus Pokus for my bday. Should I buy one good bottle or 2 or 3 mid tier bottles? I'm open to suggestions.

Just want to say thanks to everyone here. I just got into whiskey early this year and I can't tell y'all how much I've learned just by reading this thread starting around last September. Probably learned more useful, practical info here than on any of the blogs I've read. Cheers

As a result, FedEx was pretty pretty good to me last week. I'll post pics when I can

I think you have to see what is on the shelf when you go and make a decision...
