The A&P and National Canal Villere used to do a raffle for the Pappiez like Calandro's does today. And this was in the 1980's. They were true pioneers.

Yes it was. I was maybe 10 or so when it closed but I remember riding the Ragin Cajun and the Zephyr.

I can't remember my wife's cell number but sure as the day is long I remember 1-800-551-8900. So if I ever lose my job, I can quickly call diesel driving academy and get schooled to drive one of dem big rigs. Thanks DDA for that commercial.
