Woodford Reserve.
If you are staying in Louisville the old Water Works building and tower on River Rd. is worth a quick look. Incredible craftsmanship for a water tower.

I personally prefer the 60/40, but I also prefer the Antique to the 12. If you want a higher proof go with the 60/40

If you like historical stuff that old water works is really neat.
The Heighgold Facade is also on River Rd.
Sorry for the history. Ya'll can go back to bourbon now.

Attempted to barrel age a 50/50 PMP. It was temperature controlled the entire time and sat for 6 weeks. The Glencairn is a pour and the Weller bottle is a previous 50/50 (unaged) mix. The taste came out just as harsh as the color, unfortunately. Overly tannic, all wood and char and all of the vanilla and caramel and slight spice are completely overshadowed. Note to self, don't let it sit for 6 weeks (even though barrel instructions say 1-3 months).
I currently have Bencharmark aging in there (since I was tricked into getting some on here). But figured it's worth a try to see if anything can improve it.

Yea PePe, it was pretty damn dark. I ended up diluting it with the other mix. It's actually how I wanted it to taste originally now. Just took some rigging
