Did a little research, looks like a lot of hoops to jump through to just be able to sell here.

No need to be a dick.

Tell me what PVW15 sells for on secondary vs. what KBBS sells for if it is such a stupid question.

Why is that dumb? Is PVW15 worth a lot more than KBBS on the secondary market?

whats up UT?

i said the same thing and while i cant speak for CB my remarks are not solely passed on the monetary valve, i think they are about the same $4$
but just based on the 1 time enjoyment of the beer opposed to the multiple pours out of the PVW

PVW15 sells for $650-700 secondary. I don't really know the secondary on KBBS.

Just fricking with you man .

But no bottle of beer would be worth a bottle of PVW15, at least in my opinion, and I'm sure most in here .

You could make the same argument for paying secondary prices for one bottle of PVW15 versus how many bottles of something like Weller 12 that money would get you and start comparing price per pour.

Bottom line, in the game of rare alcohol, whether it be whiskey, wine, beer, or whatever, it is all pretty dumb if you compare it what you would get for something less rare.

That's about what I thought.

A bottle of KBBS just sold a few weeks ago on mybeercellar for $1000. So, I can see why someone would offer a PVW15 for it.

$1000 is trivial for some people. I'm not one of them.

Surely there are rare bottles of whiskey or wine that have sold for many, many more times than that.

I think it just took a lot of us by surprise. We think people pay ridiculous prices for bourbon and to see a single bottle of beer go for those prices is shocking.

$1000 for a bottle of beer is stupid, I don't care how much money you have.

There are definitely other rarer beers out there that would sell for at least two or three times what KBBS goes for.
