Stopped at Churchill’s today to see if they may have Weller SR store pick. You’d think I asked him if the had Pappy 23. He goes on some rant about how any Weller is allocated, etc, etc, etc.
I was like, dude, it Weller SR.
Only thing there that interested me was a bottle of clear rye from High West. I almost grabbed it but decided to pass.
They had these 375ml bottles of “King’s County”, out of New York City. They were $40 or more a bottle. Never heard of it.

I saw the owner last week at Oktoberfest. Need to get back in. My fancy stuff is running low. Glad it's football season so the Beam is about the only thing flowing.

Got some Jim Beam (Knob Creek) yesterday. I picked up a private select 14 year, 10 months in River Ridge.
Crack it open tonight.

Arse, I was reading that Beam is opening some sort of Bed and Breakfast for $23 a night with free tastings, good views, etc. Figured you might just retire there.

I snagged a KC store pick in Memphis last week that was 3 days over 15 years. Figured at $40 what the hell. Need to power through the recent OP and Hokus picks first.

Thanks. Just checked it out. Don't see available dates on the air bnb site yet.
No white label?
I'd rock all fricking day.

Maybe I'll do a vertical sometime. I have seen a couple of other 15yr picks on different sites from around the U.S. and they all seem to match the warehouse, floor and very close in rick. Interesting how they spread the juice out.

The distillery is available to stay November 23-24 and December 7-8. These dates will be available to book starting on October 21.
Damn. Only two available dates. No way I'll get that lucky. I'll try and report back.

Figure out how those frickers are successful during the DDH Ghost in the Machine pre-sales and you might snag it.
