I know this may look odd but it was actually a damn good old fashioned. Desi Vega does this fall OF with with some kinda apple butter thing with cinnamon apple crips on top. They did their own MM private select (sell the bottles) with 5 staves.
Bottle is $200, wtf

So Curds won’t open this one but it’s good. 14+ years. Letting it breath a little. It opens up pretty quickly, Not that there is anything wrong with NC cuz there isn’t but it is was it is. This has much more complexity. Really enjoyable

@Glock17, I really like it. Like might go buy the bottle I saw in Pensacola today. I am anything but a Turkey fan, but this is super smooth and hides the proof well. So does anyone have any info on this one? My favorite beach spot guy told me I should try it

The knob creek from RRD is a banger? I might need to hop over there. Snagged a few good bottles from them last year but haven’t been as frequently as I’d like considering some of the goods they get.

Don’t know how true it is but I remember reading an article a while ago that said Luxco sourced the barrels for David Nicholson Reserve from Heaven Hill. The article mentioned how it was very similar to HM10. Maybe you can confirm this for us lol

It’s a bit hot. Lower proof than the Rare Breed I opened tonight, but not nearly as smooth. I’m thinking it might develop after being open like RY10 did. I didn’t care for the RY at first, revisited a few months after opening, and that little bit of air made it taste a lot better (for my taste). For sure not as smooth as the Henry10
