I may get some hate, but the owa107 from acquistipaces is not good. I have had about 30 picks of this, and this is the lowest i think.

The Russells 12yr barrel at martins right is excellent though. I am not even an RR fan usually.

Yuge difference in owning the store vs stocking the shelves. Our new guy is more than likely the latter. I’d be willing to bet the store OWNER would not appreciate him telling a forum of over 175k people to stay away from his store unless they’re local.

It’s funny to me that that’s what you hear/read me saying.

Shop wherever you want. I’m merely expressing the lack of interest in having any large # of people from outside the area participate in a special event that’s intentionally geared towards allowing my customers and new potential regular customers to purchase rare bottles...that’s it. No malice. No disrespect. No ill intent. Just honesty.

If you can’t appreciate that and the fact that there are other raffles in town that would welcome your motley crew (by your own admission) with open arms.

Now, perhaps we can get back to the appreciating of whiskey/scotch for which the thread is named?
