It is IMO the best value scotch on the market at ~$60 or so.
It is lightly peated which makes the switch from bourbon less aggressive.
It is available at nearly every liquor store.
DO NOT BUY GLENFIDDICH 12!! Something magical happens in those last 3 years.

The 15 is made in a Solera system basically a huge wooden vat that they blend whisky from three different types of cask. It helps “smooth” out the whisky.

As someone who has tried to like scotch and failed multiple times it’s ok to not like scotch. Bourbon just tastes better.

I’ve tried several but always end up back on the American juice. But I’ll never turn down a glass.
