How’s the pour? I have a bottle that’s waiting to be cracked myself.

Solid...needs a few drops of water to open it up or maybe a small ice cube. Price point ($69) is right there with Elijah Craig Barrel Proof and well worth it.

I think GTS & WLW are the only BP’s I can drink w/o cutting them with a little water.

Not impressed. I’d pass on it if I saw it again. It tastes like a combination of oak and ethanol so not the greatest blend of flavors.

Some of you might think I'm crazy for this opinion but for a cheap daily drinker, Jim Beam Distiller's Cut (not Devil's Cut) is pretty good. Especially considering the price. I saw it on the shelf for $18 and decided it was worth a roll of the dice at that price. Glad I did. I went back a few days later and bought 2 more. 5-6 years old, 100 proof, and non-chill filtered. I wasn't too sure after the first glass but it opens up nicely with a little air. The label says it is limited edition but who knows if that is bullshite or not. Has anyone else tried it?
Finally ran across this juice today. I’ve been keeping an eye open since reading this. Will pour a glass shortly and report back.

This is real nice, Clark. For $20, I’ll be stocking up. Great for old fashioned in sure... will find out soon.

Glad you liked it. It is always nice to come across a decent bottle for so little.

How is that Knob Creek Cask Strength rye?

Really good! Would be happier if it was $40-$50 but it’s not every day you see barrel proof ryes so I’m a fan.
