Wowsers, page 3. What has this thread come to?

Having a little shindig tonight and didn't feel like mixing drinks all night so here was my solution.

Very cool idea. Did you have them mix the drinks in your pictured beaker then wash out the beaker or did they just build the OF in the plastic cups? It’s all fairly doable since you provided the orange bitters so no need for messy muddling or garnishing (if desired).

If you drink scotch neat, you don’t need all that.

It was done both ways. Some of the more experienced folks used the beaker to mix and pour but most just mixed things in the plastic glass. Saved me a lot of time to not have to mix drinks and just enjoy the party.

I think it’s a good expression of Canadian rye though it’s a crowded market these days. It’s excellent for a cocktail and good enough on its own accord.

I drink most of my whisk(e)y neat or on an ice cube. I set this up for guests that aren’t to that point, however.

FPD Stagg Jr 131.9 proof

Y’all were right... good bottle of juice right here. I put it up there with EHT BP, which I always considered more of a “stagg Jr” than stagg Jr actually was.

Game changer then...

1PD: First 107 I’ve bought in Louisiana, always had to go to MS to get them

As usual, Elio’s did a great job with this pick
