I just did a blind taste test. Weller 12 just took down Lot B.

Rouses is apparently way ahead of you on price point for those two.

FYI: The old Cubans has 2 Jefferson 16 years on the shelf for $189 each if anyone is interested...
You spring for it? I’ve heard it’s decent but is mostly just living off the Presidential Select brand. If it was the same juice without that stamp no one would be paying $185-$200 for it.

So I went last night to my first bourbon tasting. By far one of the most enjoyable things I've splurged on. Anyone in the Shreveport/Bossier area into fine wine/liqour be on the look out for dinner and events put on by Vineria on Flourney Lucas. This bourbon dinner was first class all the way...really good time!

That looks like a fantastic tasting! Which pour was your favorite?

I'd have to say the pappy... but the stagg was a very close second! The forester was surprisingly good as well. Handy wasn't my cup of tea... very hot.. also could have been where it landed in the tasteing and meal.

Following Purp's lead...but with a little less rye and a different yeast

Just wanted to repost the Old Rip Van Winkle 25 charity raffle. Sold 1045/1500 tickets in first 10 days. Will surely sell out, if anyone is interested.
Thanks!

I was given a bottle of Laphroaig Select tonight. I'm pretty uneducated when it comes to scotch. Is there a snowballs chance in hell im going to enjoy this?
