Depending on what you have I would be interested in buying the whole lot at one time.

Buffalo Trace Distillery Planning $1.4 Billion Expansion; Tourism Up 18%

quote:

“We are bursting at the seams, so to speak, in all areas, distillation, bottling and tourism, so we’re looking forward to our new expansion,” said Meredith Moody, Marketing Services Director.

Buffalo Trace will also expand its distilling operation, which includes new mash cookers, a boiler and fermenters. In order to make room, the existing bottling hall will be moving to another area on site starting this spring/summer and the bottling lines will be modernized to allow for more efficiency and better capacity.

As previously announced, Buffalo Trace is building new barrel warehouses on the farm it owns adjacent to the Distillery, at a rate of one new warehouse every four months for the next ten years. These new warehouses will hold 58,000 barrels, and construction on the first one is nearly complete.

Thanks I will try it.
in my rum family I just got a "Selecciones de Maestros"- CUBAN Havana Club brought to me from Cuba, not available in the US.... awesome.

I will also buy this next week ... the manager for Total Wine said he likes as one of his favorites..
priced under $ 30 from Barbados, then shipped to France to sleep in Cognac Barrels

Just FYI Total wine will almost exclusively recommend their control brands. He doesn't like that rum, his store makes the highest margin on that rum. It's exclusive to Total wine.

maybe so, but this one mgr. has been on target before.
I furnish Fresh Hand Rolled Cigars for shows etc and we have spoken before.
Also, for the money, I will try it, not a bad rating.

Most of the reviews mention Total wine.

It's probably good, but they're looking out for themselves when recommending that stuff.

The guy I talk to has guided me well before.

I am not a whiskey drinker and he guided me to start with a lower price one as opposed to what I was looking at..did not try to up sell me.

"Buyer Beware" all stores are there to sell.

Don't even know where to start but I figured y'all would appreciate this

What you don't see is the bottle of handy that was right next to this. Had to take it out of the case to scan for price.

I'm at rouses grabbing a bottle of wine, and happen to take a look in the display case. Sitting right next to the "rare Weller 12" is a bottle of handy. Thinking it's my lucky day, I grab the liquor guy and ask him how much. He says he's pretty sure it's 400. I laugh and tell him I can buy one online for less, and ask him to check the price. Takes it out to bring to the front to scan, comes back and tells me it's 499. I laugh again and he tells me he knows it's high but they've been selling them. Tells me they sold "pappy 10" for 699, and "pappy 12" for 899. Then tells me that the "very good and rare Weller 12" is a little cheaper. Definitely wasnt expecting that at rouses

Update on Kaniche XO Rum.

Went by Total Wine and while I did not buy the bottle, I got to taste it.

I will buy the bottle next week, extremely smooth w no after burn. Impressed.
