Got to Alexander’s at 6:30 to find out they stopped selling tickets at 6. Flyer mentioned the event starts at 6 with raffle to follow at 7.

Pretty disappointed they just turned away more money to a charity, instead of selling as many tickets as possible. Owell, inaugural event, might need to work out the kinks. They had a good crowd there and only 30 bottles, so odds weren’t high to win. But turning away $75 a head for OLOCH just didn’t sit well.

Picked up some Buffalo Trace earlier today. First drink of choice the mornings of 23-25 is a bourbon milk punch.

I should emphasize that I’m super new to bourbons, but in Colorado we have pretty decent access to this single barrel Weller and I’ve really enjoyed it. Picking up Blanton’s tomorrow.

I’ve been told to look at ER10. I have a bottle of Sazerac which I’ve enjoyed. Any other bourbons or ryes that I should seek out?

I went to Alexanders tonight. My BIL got a MWND.

They do need to work out the kinks. It wasn't smooth. The food was really good, but ran out quickly.

They had a lot of samples, beer and booze.
