Thanks for the heads up, I went in today and it looked like they had a full shelf of the blantons store picks, so they had plenty for everyone. Going to taste test tonight, after the carrot cake of course. Also picked up a Russell reserve store pick

Need an inventory count on that Alexanders pick. I'm sure they are wondering why that shite has been flying off the shelves.

I think I talked with the liquor manager last night, I told him his ER was getting real good reviews and expect for us local bourbon guys to hit it pretty good...

I went by there today and picked up a case of the Alexander's ER10 since I only had 1 bottle. He said they have sold about half the barrel already. They have more 1.75L left than 750's but there should still be some on Thursday for all of you out of town BAWS coming in for the raffle. If not let me know and you can pull from my stash.

I just got some Bittermilk. Anyone tried this stuff? I got it as a Christmas present. It's delicious. Makes an awesome "old fashioned".

Before you purists come shite on it, I put old fashioned in quotes, because it is different but it is delicious.

From their website:

BOURBON BARREL AGED OLD FASHIONED

We've recreated this gentlemen's cocktail by using classic bittering agents like gentian root and cinchona bark along with burnt sugar, spices and a bit of orange peel. Aged in Willett bourbon barrels to allow the flavors to come together and ramp up the intensity. It is super concentrated so a little bit goes a long way. Best with aged spirits. Stir 1 part No.1 + 4 parts rye in a glass with ice. Garnish with an orange peel.

INGREDIENTS

Florida Golden Cane Sugar, Burnt Cane Sugar, Water, Fresh Orange Peel, Spices, Organic Gentian Root, Cinchona Bark, Tartaric Acid

ETA:

This shite is delicious and dangerously easy to drink.

I couldn't drink them all the time since they are a bit sweet but I really enjoy it.

I did half an ounce of Bittermilk and 4 ounces of bourbon. Not too bad at all.

Too sweet just means not enough bourbon

I may need to work on that.

I had a liver/gallbladder test today and the doctor said that he had never seen such an efficient liver.

It pains me to see so many with W12 on here. I finally got my hands on some OWA this year. Love the W12. Will suck it up and overpay for it online if I don't win any at the raffle.

Believe me, I will the moment I get the chance. I found my OWA in a small town liquor store in LA. Blind luck. But that store is on my radar now...
