Sometimes stuff falls in my lap, for that I am grateful. I have given up chasing and just enjoy. I gave back to the bourbon gods earlier this year so perhaps they will shine on me...

Had a store owner tried to sell me on small batch this week that was/is cheaper than single barrel this week is why I'm asking. He claimed small batch was much harder to come by...

If yallhave ever been to Roberts every thing is behind the counter and I don't have the best eyes so I asked if it was a store pick or something and he told me no. Plus I had my 3yr old with me and I felt like an alky. So I just got the blantons and left that area.

And still no answer to the original question. Apparently this is only a "hey look at me and what I'm drinking thread". Thanks for attempting to help Wick.

Small Batch Four Roses is really good too. It's a great daily drinker and it works well in Bourbon cocktails. Single Barrel is superior but I think it's a testament to Four Roses that their Small Batch is still really really good. Even yellow label isn't bad, I've used it in some bourbon punches and everyone liked them.
