FPD: Nulu after the longest fricking Monday I've had in some time

I believe in the end it will be a neutral flavor due to so many bourbons mixing in, but I am very curious to see the end result. I doubt I will do this again
I've been very careful with what I add. From all whiskeys. I started it the night of the 25 bottle tasting we did.
Mainly higher rye bourbon. No ryes allowed. A little Irish. And a single drop of ardbeg.
Currently a very sweet whiskey with a LOT of back end heat. And a touch of smoke.
I need to add a little full flavored 40% to proof it down a little. But it's certainly a drinker.

Some dude at Martin’s pulled me over before lunch the other day and gave me like 2 fingers of each of those WT’s to sample within like a 2 min span
I liked the gold label a little better so grabbed one

1PD. A little MGP sourced Rye.

I like that label. I'm in a group that recently did a Nashville barrel pick, but $160 for a fifth from a company I've never had was a bit steep. What are your thoughts on it?

I love the yellow label (wheated). What were your thoughts on the other one? Was it the bourbon or rye? I've been wanting to try those

It was the small batch bourbon...I got slightly more sweetness with the single barrel (yellow) so went with that one. I think they might have been the same price ($41)

yeah that's the wheat doing that. really with this being as good as it is and also becoming more available, there is no reason to seek out the Weller antique. I tasted these two side by side, and I prefer this actually. I find the OWA comes with a heavy front burn that this does not have.

Will have to compare those...
Paging cdro....when's the raffle gonna be this year? The 10th or 17th?
(The 17th's our anniversary and I don't think my wife is keen on spending it in aisle 3, so hopefully the 10th)

Was it the 6 year old wheater? Big fan of WT, can't find it around here.
