Neither are anything special, but chimes is the better of the 2.

Can't imagine waiting in line for 1 1/2 hours for this place. But there will be a ton of idiots that will do it.

Chimes grill is a good college sports bar and grill……
Superior grill is mediocre Mexican food at best….Margaritas are the real attraction for most people

I’ll never understand the hype for Superior. Overpriced for Mexican food and it isn’t even close to being the best.

Chimes.

There’s already a very popular, long time local place that is known for great drinks and average to just above average TexMex food. LaFonda.

Don’s is similar to Chimes in simple good restaurant South Louisiana food; however, it sports a good draft beer menu. Don’s doesn’t have that. You go there to drink old fashioneds.

And there's not a bunch of restaurants in Lafayette that make the same items on Chimes' menu better than Chimes?

I prefer superior. Ask for Sylvia at the government location. She’ll take great care of you.
