If you want some variety for morning drinks, I've made the below a number of times and it's delicious. One recipe makes a bit more than a half gallon.

MIlk PUNCH
1/2 gallon of Bluebell homemade vanilla ice cream or the homemade vanilla brand of your choice
1 cup bourbon of your choice (you can substitute brandy, if you like)
1/2 cup amaretto
grated nutmeg

Allow the ice cream to melt. Use a funnel to transfer it to a gallon plastic container. Add the bourbon and the amaretto. Shake and refrigerate or freeze and defrost, if you want to make it ahead. Serve over ice and sprinkle a wee bit of nutmeg on top.

NOTE: I think it could use a bit more bourbon and I add just a little creme de cocao to it, simply because I like it. It was darn good, as is, though. I first had it at a friend’s tailgate for a 2:30 game.

I'm seeing zing zang at $8/32oz. So it's not really a waste, is it? Bunch of smart people in here.

Well, since Blue Bell hasn't been available, another selection might be necessary. Damn fine game day breakfast drink whatever you use.

$8 for 32 oz
128 oz in a gallon = 4 bottle of zing zang = 32$ and that's without the other ingredients AND the liquor, so frick you

Well that's great man. Let me go ahead and drive to walmart, wait in line for 30 minutes and then make my own shite at the tailgate. OR, I can just stop by The Patio on my way home and walk in and out with some premade stuff. THEN, I can get to my tailgate in the morning and enjoy my bloody mary that I didn't have to make myself.

eta: and Zing Zang sucks
