Where to buy moonshine?

Not the watered down stuff they try to pass off as moonshine,But the real deal. Had a guy from Pride a few years ago who sold it to me. Haven't found anyone since.

People like the thrill of possibly going blind from methanol that comes with moonshine. Can't get that type of experience from just everclear.

It is impossible to suffer blindness from methanol while consuming distilled ethanol.
Why? The cure for one is the other
As for moonshine, get everclear and run it through a charcoal filter a half dozen times. Cut with boiling distilled water never letting the temp of the alcohol top 150 degrees. Jar and seal.
Add a pinch of salt.

Know an ole baw in Oklahoma that always has a jar or two for me when I see him.
Last time he gave some of the real harsh rotgut that'll knock you on your arse and also a lower abv one made from peach.
I'll hardly touch the rough stuff, but I can sip all day on the peach.

Why not just make your own. You would need a container to work the mash in, some copper roof flashing to make the cooker, a little copper tubing to make the coil.
Try to avoid lead solder and the use of radiators.
It will allow you to dream visions and envision dreams.

Moonshine should never taste like everclear or someone is doing things very very wrong.
Everclear is actually a vodka traditionally distilled in a tower still, moonshine is a whiskey distilled in a pot still traditionally.
While they are both made from fermented corn the taste isvery different and very few people bottle shine at the elevated abv of everclear,it strips out all the flavors.
I would be happy to let you have some but ain't putting any contact details in this thread.

I recommend a Newby start here, excellent resource LINK
I use a slightly larger Alembic than the still on the front page and would recommend that type.

Not at all. It's no longer worth my time to do my own fermentation.
You can make everclear taste like bourbon if you have a nose for it.
