Where do you buy live crawfish in Houston?

I used to buy them off one of the trucks that delivered them to the bars. Critter Runner or something like that.

Try Airline Seafood on Richmond. Fiesta on Kirby near Reliant Stadium has them too, but I don't think you can reserve them.

Been a while since i lived there but when i was there...the best place was in LA...NOBODY in Houston (as far as restaurants) knows how to cook crawfish. Find a fellow Coonass and buy some together and cook them at home.

I bought a sack last weekend from The HEB on Bunker Hill @ I-10. Good size and great price.

What are they selling them for right now? They were 1.99 when wholesale was still 2.20(farmers price), that's a hell of a loss just to get people in the store.

Last Friday the heb off mason was selling them for 1.49 a pound. I think they were trying to get rid of what they had before the fresh crawfish came in over the weekend.

They only buy on Fridays and Saturdays.
