I’m out in my freezer, and I need to cook one of those nasty creatures for Saturday night. TIA.

Just north of Lafayette by about 15 minutes, try Davis Seafood. I get gator and turtle from them.
515 Bosco Hwy Church Point, La.
It’s not quite into Church Point…it’s just a little west of Carencro.

Hebert's Specialty Meats (Maurice/Broussard) usually carries gator filets. I believe I've also seen it at Chop's in Broussard.

nasty
You right about that. I cleaned and fried a couple hundred pounds of gator for a charity event and will never touch or eat that vile flesh again.

You can call Chez Francois and ask. I’d bet they have frozen packs.

Don’s in Scott usually has frozen packs. Not sure about the Carencro location.

You had shite Gator meat. Try it again with better cleaned meat. I'm not saying it's the best but it's definitely edible compared to what you did. You fricked up bigly bruh. That's all I'll say.

turtle
This is the best meat in water and I'd throw a steak away for it. Turtle imo is at the top of the list of meat.

Last time I made turtle soup it was restaurant quality. Did it from scratch.
