My dad used to bring them home from hunts when I was young and I haven't tasted pheasant in decades. How do I obtain some?

Friend,

Langenstein’s can get it for you if you ask the butcher. We purchased a bouquet of them for Christmas dinner a few years ago. They were delicious. Please let me know if you have any trouble and I will look into for you.

Just about any specialty meats place can probably get you one or may even have it in stock. There used to be some folks around LC that raised them, and you could go “hunt” them.

In Lafayette, I would call Kirk’s. He can get you anything.

I'm sure they are obtainable and you got some good suggestions. I like shooting them, but have never been impressed with the meat. I'd prefer a quail, partridge or chukker.
