Yes it is because its not true. Grade D ground meat isnt a thing. It doesnt exist.

The El Tiempos of the world have gotten out of hand but they are still packed every night so it hasn't effected their business.

Old school tex-mex spots are still pretty reasonable.

Got a nice carnitas torta at my favorite dive Mexican restaurant last week for $7.50. Used to be $6.50.

yep. in the 90's TB was cheap. somewhere in the 2000's TB became ridiculous. probably around the great recession.

Hey Balls, I just had two beef fajitas tacos with rice and beans from the local taco truck. All for $5 bucks. Happy Cinco de Mayo!


ETA: I forgot you were such a stickler for things. I put a dollar in the tip jar outside the window. Bottom line is relatively inexpensive food can be had.
