Saw an ad for a garage sale on FB. The lady had this Le Creuset pot for $75. She also had the add for it, showing how much they cost new. I told her I’d take it and ran over to grab it.

She was firm on the pot, so while I was there, I browsed the rest of her garage sale. I found a set of Lynx irons and five pair of Carhartt FR pants, brand new with tags. I paid $10 for the irons and $50 for the pants. All said and done, I was in for $135.

I sold the pants for $100. I could have gotten more if I waited, but there’s so many on eBay, I low balled all other auctions. The clubs just sold for $82.

So now I have a Le Creuset multi-pot for free and about $50.

This thing looks like it’s never been used. She said she only used it a couple times.

That's a perfect Dutch oven for baking bread if you're into that. Especially if you like to score it with a lame

ha! I was reading this and when you said someone paid $82 for some beat up, old arse Lynx golf clubs I asked myself "who the hell would want to those at that price?!".

Sweet pan!

Still only $30 in for the pot and the clubs- I think you'll still do fine. Nice find!

I know the clubs will sell for at least $60. I had multiple bidders on the auction. They are relisted as buy it now or offer at $80

:hesrightyouknowgif:

A lame is kitchen tool that holds a razor. People make designs on the top of breads to control where the crusts split.

He didn't mean the pot was a "lame score."
