I hear you. Have you ever had the Ashville Brewing Co. in North Carolina? great beers! Similar to the New Belgium brews.

I'm not saying it's terrible or anything. Just saying that if I have choices like Rogue, Stone, North Coast, bells, etc., and Abita, Abita is going to be way down the list.

I agree. Rogue is my favorite craft beer for the last year or so. I am just very very partial to Turbo Dog.

I find Rogue to be a little overrated, about the same as Abita. They make some good stuff, and some mediocre stuff.
At least we can get Rogue in BR though... that's more than I can say about most breweries I like better.

I hear you. Abita helped introduce me into craft beer, so for that they are great

Good call. That's a tasty beer.
The Weihenstephaner Korbininan Doppelbock is also really good, and cheap.

Don't we all wish we could have access to craft beer like a Portland does or Colorado, but we don't. But Rogue, Stone, Abita ect ect are all quality brews that I will enjoy drinking. When I travel I definitely seek out all the brews that I cant get in Louisiana due to licensing.

I really enjoy Abita Amber and some of their speciality/seasonal stuff but NOLA beats them head to head with every beer they make.

I'm sure you're aware already but if you got the money and want to see one of the most impressive beer menus in LA check out the Cove in BR off of corporate.
