I crack the whole egg into a bowl then use a tablespoon to pull the yolk out. It fits it perfectly and kinda “cuts” the whites away from the yolk.

Empty water bottle. Squeeze it, hold the opening over the egg yolk, and let the bottle "breathe in" it suck up the yolk.

My wife (no pics) says we have some kind of tool, I've always just used the shell method.

I do this a lot as lemon icebox pie is easy to make for events at others' homes where we have to bring something. 8 yolks, 2 lemons zets, 1.5c lemon juice, 2 cans evap milk. Mix, pour in a crust, bake 25@ 350, freeze overnight.
