I know. They probably would believe me though. It is just fricking money. Have a good time with it.

ETA: I had more when thirty than I do now, atleast income wise.

What's up glass?

My plan for hub's 30th birthday never worked out. Surprise, surprise.

It's going down for mine in a couple years. Book it.

I told you what to do, but no, you'd rather just feel all woe is me and cry about it.

Well I was staying in the hotel where the restaurant is and was taking a steam. When I came out this short guy was walking around, naked as a jaybird and started getting dressed next to me. After he donned the whites I realized who he was. Later I realized that I'd seen a Michelin three star chef buck naked. Thomas Keller is next. Just kidding.

Wife and I spent $200 at Antoine's for my 50th birthday. Lucky for us it was on a gift certificate.

I've never spent more than $100 any other time.

Honestly, I really don't know. I've never really kept score. You see, that's because I'm a genuine balla (we're few an far between ). I'm pretty sure it happened in New York, San Francisco or Paris, however. Although, on second thought, I dropped a ton at Filippo Mantia in Rome this past Christmas holiday in Rome. My collections were down for December so I just decided screw it. If we're going down, we're going down in style. I tipped 25% on whatever the bill was and tore up the receipt on the way out and dropped it in the trash can. Thankfully, I've started taking my medication again and am more responsible.

I think we dropped $450 for a meal last December...at Disney World!

And no, I'm not kidding!

I was going to post Disney as well. 850 with tip. Tasting menu with wine pairings at Victoria and Alberts. There are supplemental costs for some items on the tasting menu that can run almost as much as the original cost. Got suckered into the truffles.

Same here...we actually asked for the truffles, but the waitress forgot (didn't mind, saved us $$$).

I think my husband's up charge on his appetizer was $30, but we didn't care. Fabulous experience, and we were just glad to be in a kid free zone!
