I find it not worth the effort when I can skip on down to Flemings for a $6 fantastic one.

You're right. But I like ideas more from people who have cooked lots of burgers than those who watched a lot of tv shows about cooking burgers.

Its cooking a burger, not performing surgery.

Ill assume that plenty of the chefs that have shows, websites, and restaurants have cooked plenty of burgers.

We should do like Reddit and end sarcastic statements with /s

Trust me, I've cooked more food than everybody in this thread.

I try not to get involved in crawfish boil threads because people are stubborn and think boiling two hundred pounds a year makes them an expert.

Because that's what it's supposed to do. It provides some taste and texture. That's it. It doesn't "lock in" juices.

Doesnt always mean that much.

I went to a crawfish boil with a bunch of dempseys people and the guy cooking them(a cook from dempseys) didnt know what the hell he was doing. This was apparently a guy who went to culinary school.

I know the restaurant doesnt cook crawfish though so his cooking experience doesnt mean as much

Culinary school doesn't teach you how to boil.

It teaches you how to cut vegetables and make omelets.

The worst thing to happen to our industry was Culinary school.

Apprenticeship training has almost been wiped out

This is true.

Plus, Dempsey's ruins their burger meat so they don't count.

Honestly, the burger thread shite is so dumb anyway.

Yes, my favorite burger is like I posted. My favorite place to get a burger made in such a way is Flemings. It's the best.

That said, I just ate a fast food burger and liked it. In fact, I rarely find a burger I dislike. Burgers are good just about any way they come unless it's just a thick hunk of black dryness.
