Yea, mine is at 225°. There are a couple of rib places here in Alabama that actually cook ribs for about an hour. They are pretty decent ribs also. Dreamland and Archibald’s come to kind.

Old school charcoal brick pits I bet. Fast or slow ribs all have their place and excellent when done right.

Smoked a Pork Loin.. Made my rub.. Garlic powder, Onion powder, Seasoned salt, Brown sugar a few shakes of McCormick's BBQ rub and some Chinese 5 spice... Came out very good.. Corn Bread and some Bush's BBQ beans..

Went to my parents who decided to do a rare “veggie” dinner. Them being from MS and east Texas that consisted of…

Fried okra
Fried Green Tomatoes
Squash casserole (heavy on fried onion and butter)
Cornbread cooked with bacon grease in cast iron
Butter beans
Fresh ripe tomatoes with salt and pepper

People don’t eat like that anymore cause it’s a s-load of work, but worth it!
