2005.

It was there when I bought my house on in that area but was a Cane's by the next year.

Though now I'm wondering if I'm not confusing it being there when a friend rented a house in the area and it already being closed before I moved there....
Hmm. As early as 2003 as late as 2005. In that window for sure.

Ok thanks
We have one person saying the late 90's, another saying 2001-2002 and another saying 2005.
We tried calling the corporate offices but it's closed

of the three the 2005 is right. No way it was late 90's because I wasn't even up there yet then. I know it was there well after the Jack in the Box that was built in 99.
It was definitely there in 2003, and I'm 95% sure it was there until 2005.

I don't know the answer to the original post, but I do know that your time line is off, because JITB didn't come to the BR market until 2000,maybe 2001.(I just know it was that academic year, not sure if it was fall or spring semester).

I was also pretty sure that all of the Rallys/Checkers had left the market before JITB came in. (I could be wrong though)

I'm pretty sure they were Rally's in the BR market.

I also believe they are coming back soon as Checkers.

Rally's didn't merge with Checkers till 99, Fast Track bought the Rally's in BR in 95 and closed in 96...so by my math they'd have to close by 99

Was it on the corner where Canes is currently? I can look back to 1989 on Google Earth and should be able to pinpoint the year

Fast Track didn't buy Rally's. They just pulled out of the market. Dr Hill just shuttered the Fast Tracks and liquidated the real estate.

Yeah, they did. Bought the BR locations in 95 and closed close to a year later

ETA: to clarify I meant they bought the old Rallys locations...not the actual Rallys franchise
