I thought maybe it was just me. I never eat fast food anymore, but in my LSU days 30 years ago, I would sometimes just order a half dozen biscuits and skip the chicken -- they really were that good.
I've had Popeyes twice this year for the first time in forever, and I was so disappointed by the biscuits each time.

The best thing to order from Popeyes is anything with a coupon, even though those coupons have disappeared from the mailbox in today’s economic times. One of the best and cheapest for the money items Popeyes had was the Popeyes’s version of chicken nuggets.

You order whatever and then negotiate after you order what they have cooked to get a hit fresh meal.
