Trying to gauge which restaurants stayed open initially, and now have closed due to lack of take-out sales?

I guess the better question would be which restaurant didn’t try takeout? Seems right when the lockdown happened everyone of them tried it.

I don’t know if it’s for a lack of sales, but Pizza Delicious is done after today.

Juan’s on Carrollton stopped at some point. Kin. All of Donald Link’s places. GW Fins.

I’m sure there are a bunch more, unfortunately.

Why are you assuming that they closed due to lack of sales? Some were doing takeout merely to use up all of the perishable and pantry goods on hand to prevent waste. Others stayed open but employees were unable to risk continued contact with the public. Still others reconsidered their move to takeout after employees were diagnosed w Covid.

Lack of sales is far from the only factor here.

Eh...it’s a pretty big factor. Every restaurant I represent has had sales reduced by 60-70% since the 3/17 order. Not one has complained about a lack of workers.

that's a good point. Use what you have, but don't order any more.
