Once again, they don't serve catfish. I've only ever eaten at one (Jackson, MS) and it was fricking terrible. Will never go to another.

Their crawfish etouffee is actually pretty dang good
They give you a lot, too. Let the other person order the fried fish, and you can combine and split the two to make the catfish/etouffee dish other restaurants serve, only for less money. I know the fish ain't catfish, but I still like it all right.

the hamburger steak
That's another favorite. It's a damn sight better than the one I got from Brew-Bachers the other night, which is just a hunk of burger in some thin french onion soup, which they have the nerve to call, "au jus." George's is much better than Brew, but Piccadilly beats them both.

Chopped steak kids plate with mashed potatoes, corn and garlic bread. Also comes with a milk or small drink I think. Get it to go and it's under $5 and pretty much the same portion as a regular dilly. This was my go-to in my college days.

It was either
Roast beef with rice and brown gravy
or
chicken fried steak with the same sides.
Their fried catfish was pretty good too.
We had 2 here in town but they both closed. One is a chinese buffet and the other in the mall is some clothing store.
Boo :(

I loved their brown gravy, it's so good. Takes me back to when I was a kid.
Wish it was still open.

Chicken fried steak w/brown gravy
Macaroni @ cheese
Turnip greens
Mexican cornbread
Jalapeño pepper
Always get it to go. Too much like an old folks home to eat there.

Hate to break it to you, but it's not catfish.
Not that it matters really ...

Their chicken fried steak is incredible
Used to be. It's now pre-breaded and then frozen. Simply dropped in the grease to heat and cook.
Essen Lane used to make a homemade one - it was top notch.
Best chicken fried steak in town is at Superior Grill (off the menu). Next up, Dempsey's or Sammy's.

Not a single mention of their fried chicken? I typically get that w/ mashed potatoes and gravy, and corn.

The Piccadillys used to serve a better fried bird back in the 90s. Somewhere along the way their recipe appears to have changed.
I normally order roast beef, providing it is cooked med. rare or medium.
