It's thicker and has more protein. I think it tastes better, and you can cook with it.

quote:

It is different from regular yogurt for two reasons:

1. Greek yogurt is a blend of cream and milk, so it has a much higher percentage of milk fat (butterfat)—any where from 4% to 10%, compared to regular whole milk yogurts that generally don’t exceed 3.5% milk fat.

2. Greek yogurt is also strained. Straining removes more water from the yogurt, making it more dense, firm and creamy.

Like it was already said it is quite a bit thicker. I love it. I usually get Chobani at Walmart. That's the one I like best. Dannon makes one too.

Greek yogurt is much thicker. Almost sour cream like. Good for savory dishes. Raita(to cool a spicy curry), taziki ect.

You should be able to find greek yogurt at most supermarkets.

Plain yogurt is for pussies.

Thicker, has more protein. Although I prefer the trashy Yoplait yogurt.

Greek God is tasty but it's a bit high in fat.

Chobani is my go to. I thought the Dannon Oikos kind tasted like garbage.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who felt that way about Oikos. I blame John Stamos.

I eat a cup of 0% Fage every morning with chopped almonds, walnuts, and sugar-free honey.

Love it!!!
