Right now I'm leaning towards Del Porto. I want to hear more about the new owners at LP before heading over there

We've been, the new owners are great. I think they live onsite and absolutely are working this restaurant as their life. It's as thoughtful of food as you'll get...there's literally no reason not to go.

I know people consider themselves foodies if they can find something wrong with a dish or presentation...but I refuse to dine with those folks and don't take that attitude into a restaurant. I just say this because someone's going to follow me with "the _______ was too salty".

Mac's on Boston

This has consistently been my wife and I's favorite place. Sal and Judy's is a very close second.

Ox Lot 9 - great
Del Porto - overrated
Dakota - good
La Provance - was great, don't know now with new ownership

The chef from Oxlot 9 took on Bobby Flay in that tv competition Beat Bobby Flay last week. He lost in a split decision but the judges complimented him on how good his frog legs were. The guy must be an excellent chef to even get on the show and he really whipped the first chef to get a shot at Flay.
